Paul McGuinness OAM – Founding Director
Paul is the principal solicitor and founding director of McGuinness Legal and has been serving the Mornington Peninsula since 1983. He is a trusted adviser to local businesses and individual private clients, and can provide advice in relation to a broad range of legal issues.
Paul was awarded a Medal of the Order of Australia for services to the Mornington Peninsula community in 2022.
Paul’s practice focuses on business contracts and transactions, commercial law, dispute resolution, mediation, litigation, building developments and planning, conveyancing, seniors law, wills, estate planning, probate and will disputes.
Paul is based in Rosebud and is available for appointments in Mt Eliza and South Yarra.

Debra Blunden – Family Law and Estates Solicitor
Debra ran a thriving general practice in Sydney before relocating to the Mornington Peninsula in 2023. Debra is an experienced family law, wills and estates solicitor and a fixture of the local golf courses.
Debra’s practice focuses on family law, property settlement, wills and powers of attorney, estate matters and advice in relation to retirement village and aged care contracts.

Jay Fergus – Commercial, Property and Estates Solicitor
Jay joined the firm as an articled clerk in 2021 and was admitted to practice in 2022, bringing a double Bachelor of Laws and Criminology and experience as an intern at the Peninsula Community Legal Centre, Frankston.Jay has a broad range of experience including Contracts of Sale, Section 32 Statements, leases and licenses, retirement village contracts and mortgages and guarantees. Jay regularly assists on sales of business and commercial transactions, litigation, probate and estates.
